Ready to volunteer? We are.

When we started Port City Paint a few months ago, we had no idea the impact that it would have on us personally. Not only are we running a business that helps home owners and business folks create beautiful spaces, but we’ve had an opportunity like no other to give back to the beautiful city of Wilmington NC.

It was a cold day a few months ago, where we stood outside of the cutest “tiny house” and met our new friends Donna, Tom, Shawn and Mike and more…. Eden Village of Wilmington had begun.

It’s going to be a community for folks who are struggling to find work, to rebuild their lives and to have a roof over their heads. Yes, it’s a community of people who are homeless. But instead of ignoring the issue of homelessness, Eden Village of Wilmington is going to be a place where people can rebuild their lives.

We’d encourage you to check it out, and in the meantime, we are asking for volunteers to join us on March 20th to paint the fence. We’d really appreciate your help, it’d give you an idea of what’s happening, meet the folks behind the project, and get some fresh air.
